Strawberry Cookie Recipe

What do they taste like? My husband says they taste like Nesquik Strawberry Milk. I don't disagree. So, if you like that kind of thing, this cookie is for you.

1 and 1/2 sticks of butter

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup white sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 3.5 oz package vanilla or cheesecake flavored instant pudding

2 tbsp instant strawberry jello mix

2 cups flour

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

1and 1/4 cup white chocolate chips

Using a high-speed mixer, cream the butter and sugars until fluffy (about 2 minutes.) Add in egg, and then vanilla until incorporated. Scrape sides before adding dry ingredients. Next, mix in your dry ingredient, starting with the two types of jello, flour and baking soda. Mix until it's nicely incorporated. Scrape sides. Lastly, add in the baking chips.

Using a 1/4 measuring cup, scoop out dough and roll in balls. These are BIG cookies, but you can adjust to your liking. This doesn't have to be perfect. Place on a pan lined with parchment paper and chill for 3 hours. Insert Torture Now. Oh, the waiting! Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Cookies will be slightly doughy when you take them out of the oven, but will continue baking and firm up as they cool on the pan.

  • Sub white baking chips for milk or dark chocolate.

  • Add sprinkles for a fun occasion.

  • Adjust the size of the cookies (you will also need to think about adjusting the bake time if you do this.)
